I had a guildy tell me he got a +3 str and a +4 con tome. I dont know if he was bs'ing in guild chat or not. I asked but he seemed to get offended (no screen shot). Anyone else confirm tome drops?

People are talking about this and that but when it comes to showing or proving no one is. I know between me and people I know and can true we had a TON of coins (and yes that's two more then a boat load so it's a lot) and not one of us got anything other then a consumable of sorts.

Seeing as the one time one dropped the other year, and the devs confirmed it, if he did get one everyone would know by now.
"something good other than cookie" is very, very, very, very, very rare. My vote is bsing, lots of people like to talk big.

I was chatting with a level 4 rogue today on Thelanis whom claimed to have pulled a sun blade on his first (and only) gold coin turn in. He seemed pretty thrilled although he said he's a strength build and likely will just sell it. Still... if that's true at least it's something other than cakes/twigs/coal.

Sunblades have been dropping since last year's turn ins, so it doesn't surprise me that they're there again.

I got a Helm of Disintegration for a gold coin.
I'm a Paladin with +18 charisma and 97 Hit points. I can use my Helm of Disintegration and do 1d4 damage as my half-elf mage wields his +5 Holy Avenger.

I know +3 tomes dropped last year. There we screenshots, I also traded for one. I wont bother posting screenies as when peeps did last year they were accused of photo shopping.

RL friend of mine who's new to the game pulled a Sun Blade today. When he asked me if it was worth holding on to, I thought it was the ghost touch darts you get a ton of since they're also Sun something er other. He corrected me and I was just :O

pretty sure he was pulling your leg about the con tome as far as I know only one +4 tome dropped over all servers and it was a wisdom tome.
