mid-level barb check-in

Hit level 8 with a dwarf TWF barbarian, looking to make sure I'm on the right track before I start getting too high in level to correct a build mistake. How does this look so far?

Base attributes (after using +2 supreme tome):
STR: 21
DEX: 18
CON: 19
INT: 10
WIS: 11
CH: 8

Skill ranks: Jump-10, Balance-5, Listen-10
Feats: ITWF, improved uncanny dodge,
Enhancements: Barb Damage Boost II, Extend Rage II, Extra Rage II, Power Rage II, Improved DR I.

Since the prestige enhancement is designed for THF, I'm not going to be aiming for it. Instead, dual Dwarven Axes.
This is my first barbarian, and second character overall on DDO.

I take a lot of damage, I think I need to start focusing on DR enhancements and investing in mithral or other enchanted medium armor.

FB is not designed solely for THF. It's just a straight up massive dps enhancement line, you'd be crazy not to take it on either THF or TWF. I have it on all of my barbs, including my TWF one. It benefits both quite well.

Feats:
You have ITWF without having the 17 dex required. So your cheating. I will now report you to the devs to be banned. lol just kidding.. But seriously that is an issue.

Either you already have 17 base dex, or you simply cannot qualify for ITWF/GTWF until you do.

Guessing your lvl1 starting stats look something like this:
str 17
dex 14
con: 17
Int: 8
wis: 9
cha: 6

So the dex will be an issue until you can aquire a +3 dex tome (likely not until long after you hit level20)
Str 18 and lower con would of been better.. That said I made the same mistake on my TWF barb and did 17 str, i regret it but hes not too badly gimped and can lesser reincarnate to fix if they ever add it. My mistake was too high dex tho, not con.

At this pnt improving your armor wont do much to reduce the dmg you do. The best way to do that is make smart use of uncanny dodge (for spell casters/reflex saves) and DR boost - for tough melee enemies. Then later getting frenzy berserker to simply kill your enemies faster then they kill you.

Recommendations: maxing out DR boost enhancement.
At lvl12, pick up cleave. Respec enhancements for frenzy berserker II. You may need to drop DR boost and rely more heavily on buffs/healers, but the damage you gain is very much worth it.

You want to go FB, it's a huge boost in DPS starting at L12.
Also, don't worry about armor. Just use robes/outfits with something useful on them.
