Doesn't Sleep have a HD limit , while hypno doesn't?

Yes. Sleep has HD limit, heightened Hypno is usefull at any level.

Dont know why they carried over the low hd limit for sleep but not hypno from PnP. Makes one useful and the other completely worthless.

I love the hypno spell, it's the first spell any caster should get, and its useful for pretty much the entire game.
