    Default Solo Wizard/Rogue Build

    Greetings,

    Following is an attempt at a solo-oriented sneaky trapsmithing wizard.

    Before I move on, a few acknowledgements are required. I really don't consider this build my own, as it is a conglomeration loosely based on builds by Impaqt and Ghoste and various posts by MrCow. With that in mind, any foibles are my fault and any fits of genius should be attributed to the above gentlemen.

    Constructive feedback is most welcome. Of note, I'd like to hear from folks experienced with the various high water marks required for Disable Device, Open Lock, Hide, Move Silently, Search and Spot at higher levels. I don't expect to be able to handle 100% of all content. Rather, given gear/potions/etc. reasonably obtainable by a solo toon, I'd like to be able to successfully deal with a significant portion of the content.

    This need not be a min/max toon, as I’d prefer a balance of the above skills, with possibly a small preference for Hide and Move Silently. Thus, I've equally divided points between these skills. Should I raise some and lower others to achieve a better balance? This will be version 3 of this toon. I'm fairly confident with the selections for enhancements and spells. But any thoughts on those will be appreciated as well.

    I’ve a strong preference for Charm and Crowd Control. This allows time to enjoy my chocolate-covered-bacon-donuts with ale-chaser picnics, while my victims entertain me by disemboweling each other. If they insist on interrupting me, they’ll soon be dancing in a firewall.
