    Default Rogue armor

My dex is 24 and my mod is +7. I want an armor that will get me to a dex of 32-34, and still apply my dex mod to my AC. The armor I have now is +2 mithral breastplate. I have an AC of 23 +2. I would like that much higher if I can. If I have to craft something let me know. I would like to learn about crafting.

Q&A is the business of pointing out others' failures. Optimists need not apply.

Many rogues end up skipping armor at higher levels and going with robes or outfits. If you are high dex--this is the best way to get a high AC: robes/outfit + armored bracer + +5 protection item + barkskin (pot or ranger) + dex bonus might get you pretty far. As you get to a point where you can craft armor and weapons, you can add insight bonus and others to get you up pretty high (into the useful range).

However, for the higher level game content (levels 14+), if you aren't going to reach an AC in the 50s, it may not be worth bothering at all. In other words, if your end-game AC is going to be in the 30s--it might as well be 15 (monsters will hit you on a roll of a 2 either way). By ignoring AC, you'll free yourself up to use gear slots for other useful things.
