    Default DDO TV Commercial... Who should be teh Star?

    So I just saw one of the new adverts for "that other game" and was thinking IF DDO were to do a TV advert...

    Who would they get to star?


    First: one of the big things is the "Star" could make a character that actually looks like them.

    Second: I think the commercial would be best shot in Fist person mode (with the "Star") using real in game footage. (not that fake "in game" footage that the other guys use) Granted probably on the test server, with the Devs playing support characters, run threw some of the best things, dragons, crazy beholder fights, sweeping shots of the city/area...

    Music should be somethign big and epic, something like O Fortuna (but not that cause its over used) Maybe Mars from the Planets? (Holst)

    But the question is... Who should be the Star(s)

    My short list...

    Patrick Steward (furthering the Kick vs Picard controversy!!!)
    Vin Diesel
    Arnold Schwarzenegger (he'd never do it but it would be AWESOME!)
    Ron Perlman
    Winona Ryder
    Tim Curry

    Anyone else have any ideas?

    Rather see someone that actually PLAYS DDO/DnD vs some paid actor to BS people.

    With that said, Mertolaskero is my choice.

    I actually saw an interview with Vin Diesel talking about how he used to play pnp D&D when he was a teenager, so I think he would probably be thrilled to do it.

    unless he did it for free, methinks we'd lose a couple years of development time lol.

    Tim Curry, his voice is sooooooo EVIL!

    He should voice a beholder or an evil wizard. If I'm not mistaken, he voiced Skullmaster (Mighty Max) back in the day. I love his voice!
