    Question Take my money turbine!

I live in South Africa, which is not on Turbines little country list.

Pay by Cash has more options, but not many.

How does one go about getting unlimited access in such a scenario? Anyone been in a similiar situation, which was the quickest easy way to do this ?

Default i think i am on to something

I tested an american proxy server on paybycash, its now supported, they will do moneybookers transactions on a fake address... good stuff half way there..

I have set up a moneybrookers account and transferred some funds, now i will wait for them to reflect and try the transaction..

    Seriously this should be easier!

South Africa isn't a country that Turbine officially supports. We are happy to assist players from non officially supported areas, however those players may need to take additional steps to play.

Please see this post if you experience any difficulties adding a game card.

Please see this post for more possible payment options as well.

    Default whine

    /me whines!

moneybookers takes sooooo long to verify !!

    *patiently awaits his VIP status*

Turbine should allow PayByCash to accept payments from more countries btw.

I dont think theres a huge fruad issue since if something is reported as fruadulent you would just delete the account?

I'll post a howto to get VIP if your in an unsupported country howto as soon as I get it right!

    Default Solved I Think?

I go to the store in the game, click buy points.. and I can add a credit card, the country list is much larger..

The credit card is then on file at myaccount.turbine.com.

Can someone from Turbine correct me if im wrong, but now when I select to go VIP and say use the card on file it will work?

P.S. Moneybookers is a pain in the ass, I now have to send them a blood sample and my first born child.

Yes, it will. That's one of the work arounds mentioned in the second sticky in my first response.

Default i was so sure i tried that

I read those stickies a few times and was almost sure I tried that, but I obviously didn't. Both the places should contain the large country list, will probably clear up some confusion.

    Thanks for the help.

yes Turbine will take you money. Lord knows they have now been taking mine for the past several months. I have two Vip accounts I pay for and then a f2p account so i could see what that was like. However every month I keep getting charged for outrageous amounts that do not make any sense. I have emailed Turbine regarding and got one response that said...you have four accounts linked to your card and that is what you are paying for. I asked back in a reply email (since I do not have long distance) what are these accounts...they told me they could not tell me any info regarding the other accts which I have been paying for due to privacy violations. Okay so you are telling me that turbine can steal my money which totals over $200 a month, (when i should only be paying for two VIP accounts) but yet I can't have any information pertaining to these other accounts I PAY for?

What is wrong with this picture? I recently cancelled my old card number and had a new card issued. I figured okay this should be safe now. But no.... some how Turbine has still managed to get the other accts onto my new credit card number as well and the other day I paid my one VIP account $14.99 and then two days later they have charged me another $38.99.

What is going on here and why will Turbine not respond to me? Not all of us have long distance and I am screwed out of my money because Turbine can simply ignore emails and pretend they never got them. How does a person without long distance get any help here?

I apologize, but we cannot assist with issues regarding specific accounts via the forums. If you are not pleased with the email you received, please respond to that email and ask additional questions and ask for additional information. If you can PM me your email address I'm happy to see what I can find out.

    Hey Sultry-
Unfortunately free accounts aren't able to PM. However, I've done a little digging, and found the email you sent. You should be getting an email tonight regarding your inquiry. Unfortunately, even with dollar amounts I won't be able to give likely purchase options because multiple purchases on a single day can be combined, and the variations of subscription fees and points available for purchase now varies greatly. But, I'm sure that you'll be able to figure things out via the email you're receiving this evening.

You should be able to use the card on more than one account. Just follow the same steps - add the card then upgrade.
