Hi there. I have decided that I want to play a Thief-Acrobat. I'll take 12 levels of Rogue to get to the second enhancement, which will give me plenty of points to max out all the important skills. I'd like to use the remaining levels to improve on combat ability. I'm mostly just considering between 8 levels of Fighter or Barbarian. So, which would be more beneficial, Kensai and the extra feats, or Rage and all of the goodies that go with it? Or something else?
Incidentally, can you use skills like Disable Device or Use Magic Device while raging?

Take 13 rogue levels.
Take 6 ranger levels.
Take 1 monk level

Can't cast spells while raging....so if you mean you're using UMD to use a wand or scroll then nope. I think you have to cancel your rage to disable too but don't quote me on that one. Originally Posted by ranagrande

I have been playing around with a staff Acrobat/FB and you can't disable divices in when raged.
I am also a little skeptical about meleeing with 12 lvls of rogue. For my tastes it makes for really squishy builds. However if that is what works for you I would look at 12r/7f/1m.
One of my staff builds, The DemonStaff, is being built to be 6Rogue/12Barbarian. Once someone else establishes aggro, its dps is as impressive as any Barbs.
