    Question Monk/Ranger hybrid build questions

Looking for critiques on a build I'm playing with, as I'm a very new returning player. Questions I have are:

    1) What are the pros/cons of taking 6 levels of Ranger instead of pure Monk. (Besides tempest)
    2) Would the levels be better placed somewhere else instead of Ranger or Monk?
    3) Will tempest work if I plan on going handwraps?
    4) I hope handwraps are considered blunt weapons...if not what are they so can change my feats accordingly?
    5) Is there a build like this out there already that I should refer to?
    6) Skills... I didn't see a good reference for goals to shoot for, so I just picked what I thought I would need without reference. Am I a good guesser or no?
    7) Enhancements...I read the enhancements are really couldn't find better places to spend my points, wondering if I missed anything valuable or picked anything that won't really help me?

I have no idea about the gear or how hard it is to get the tomes, or even if some of them are needed... My goal is to provide good dps in a group setting while not being a burden on the healer. If there are better builds out there that do this and more, please let me know so I don't waste my time. Thanks in advance for helping a new guy, and sorry if this build is just ridiculous.

No. TWF, weapons only. In your case Kama only.

Build is a bad idea, sorry. Tempest doesn't work with handwraps. Kama sucks. Hands are better. Better base damage, higher rate or fire, no -2 tohit because of TWF, full Str bonus even for offhand.

Wisdom is for Cleric and FvS. Strength is warriors primary stat, only Rogue can get away with Weapon Finnese.

    No Power Attack?

Your saves are high, Iron Will is a waste.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm just starting here and wasn't sure what mechanics work with what. So I sat down with a character planner after reading a few forums and this was just something I was brain storming.

I tend to shy away from cookie cutter and didn't see any talk about monk and ranger mixing it up...and now I know why!

Guess I'll just keep playing my pure barb until I can figure something else out.

    Thanks again!
