    Default Jyliste

This a solid, non-turning (no Divine Vitality) healbot/Crowd control build.
    Based on 28 stat points.
Some people may say any cleric is better off with Quicken as a feat selection.
Having played cleric as a primary role for years now, I dont find quicken as a needed
feat when placing points into concentration at each chance to do so.

This particular build is figured with +2 tomes @ level 20.

This particular cleric build offers a high mana pool and enough versatility to swing a weapon when self buffed.
At higher levels keep an eye out for the best concentration/balance items you can find.
The weak point of this build is the low strength skill and often ends up failing str checks.
A good resistance item and proper buffs will help tremendously.
Excellent at crowd control through use of:
    sound burst/command at low level
    greater command at mid/high level
and free reign at high level between destruction/slay living/maximized blade barriers/banishment/harm, etc.

Necromancy focus + greater spell pen feats = <3

Best of luck to you Jyliste and do not hesitate to ask for any help with this character.

    28 point build Norg.
Not much room for more while staying above neg bonus and retaining max wisdom.
If you can believe Teresi had a base 8 con and still mustered 400+hp at endgame between false life and GS items etc.
She had no issues with concentration checks until amrath, all of which worked relatively well considering she was using head of good fortune for fortification.
(+15 concentration helm was more important than minos at the time)
I could drop int for more con but lose one of my intended skill at the same time.
I prefer to max out heal as I'd rather have the barb get up from the shrine full instead of me having to burn scrolls to get his arse back to full.
The aura from a good heal score could be substituted for points in balance if one were so inclined.

Getting up from cometfall/knockdown can suck but is remedied with items most have anyways. (trapblast goggles/spec ops or resistance item).
Endgame Teresi chose +5 reflex saves/150 spell point/2 clicky haste goggles for her crafting desires and they have worked out well for her.

I have been playing on Orien.
Tired of Khyber and all the bickering/arguing between people I seem to have known far to long.
Having a blast I might add as well.

Slink, that is a very cool build! I'll show you what I came up with for my new cleric, Hordeau, and see what you think.

n.b. I used NO tomes in the make-up of this build as I prefer to go back and edit/upgrade as I get tomes rather than accept them as an assumed part of the build.

    ingtar?
omg...wow, havent seen him in ages, make sure he gets a /shadowhump from you and Gornn in short order.

This is just a basic build for someone who had questions about a simple crowd control/healbot cleric on Orien (Jyliste) with alot of limitations (28pt/no tomes etc etc)
Figured the easiest way to get most of my thought across was to post here for he/she to read and use as a basis for whichever direction they decide to go.

Endgame Teresi chose +5 reflex saves/150 spell point/2 clicky haste goggles for her crafting desires and they have worked out well for her.
More of a question of why not 14 con then a question of can something be done without.

Oh there are concentration issues in the Dq epic raid (you probably need to turn on quicken at some points) and in odd quests such as Kobold, New invasion, etc.

    Why diplomacy skill points?

Probably a typo but you got greater spell focus necro listed and not spell focus necro.

I have been playing on Orien.
Tired of Khyber and all the bickering/arguing between people I seem to have known far to long.
Having a blast I might add as well.
Sounds like you needed a break from Khyber mayhaps a permanent one. Well when you get back onto Khyber look us up will be there.

Diplo to drop agro should you gain it.
Diplo+concentration works for my playstyle, might not for some others but it's how I roll on my cleric.

Yah, on original T, she doesnt have maximize but has spell focus necromancy, this is where it gets tricky.
I used to take focus necro/greater focus necro and 1 feat of spell pen instead.
In my experience, one or the other is enough, both arent needed.
Orig build also didnt have maximize because of necro spec.
I dont care if my blades only hit for 180 if I can just kill it with a glance.

Still, this would be a decent build for someone just learning the game and offer alot of versatility towards a caster focused cleric, which is also how I enjoy playing.

Not for everyone, indeed, most people focus on hitpoints/quicken and cross class skills.
Great for them, just isnt my cup of tea.
