Odd Cosmetic Cursor Problem

Admittedly, this is a minor issue, as it does not affect gameplay whatsoever. However, I do find it mildly irritating.

While I'm actually moving the cursor, the game retains the default game cursor graphic. While at rest for a few seconds, however, the mouse cursor "loses" it's game graphic and reverts to Windows default. Move again, and it becomes game default.

Like I said, it's not a huge thing, but am wondering if there's a simple fix and/or if anyone else sees this.

I have same problem. Windows Xp, windowed mode(just checked - same problem even in fullscreen), nothing else running(can't atl-tab to anything), after few seconds DDO Mouse cursor change to look like window link cursor(white hand). If i will move it for even 1 pixel it goes back to look like usual DDO cursor. Any additional information needed?
If that can't be solved - can anyone upload Mouse Cursor Theme for Windows(ani/cur files) like it is in DDO? so at least i will solve it that way.

This happens to me as well, but I had always assumed that this is how it was supposed to be.

I'm pretty sure that everyone playing DDO sees this cosmetic cursor change, so perhaps it's best to put this into the "suggestions and ideas" forum and ask the Turbine devs to change the cosmetic cursor behavior.

hmm, i don't.. my first guess would be something running in the background. If it's really that widespread then maybe it does have somefin to do with the client itself then.. idk...

I'm 100% sure i had nothing except very-very important Windows XP executables. I checked with *Ctrl+Alt+Del, then checked with TuneUp Process Manager(it can notice something,that u can't see in ctrl+alt+del), then some software like hijackthis(that i have nothing hidden in autorun), then checked "Services" @ Contron Panel of Windows.
I think i can get rid of it by restarting PC.
I had the same issue both with ATI Crossfire and Singlecard(physically removed second to check). The most fresh drivers(including 11.3 ati).
