Won't Let Me Play

I just finished dowloading the game and when I i log on to try and play it goes full screen and then a black screen and it stays there for a couple seconds and then it just goes off it one play at all i checked my firewall and let it threw and it still doesn't work please help me and try to tell me step by step how to fix it. It would be appreciated.\

the wont load after i got the full game download complete with the tiered version one.
i know the game was working since i was playing the korthos basic pack.

please help.

well. first thing first..
make sure that you have installed the client perfectly and it have downloaded all the files..

open "Turbine Download Manager".. in options, turn off Peer to Peer downloading.
run a verify installer check on your "Turbine Download Manager"

it will tell you that the game will scan all files and verify it and download broken files.

here's the trick..
Turbine did not told us that the game file "client_surface.dat" easily gets parts of it corrupted if you are downloading and playing at the same time using Peer to Peer.

Disabling Peer to Peer also speeds up your download.. well in my case and a few others i talked with.
