Default Can I have a Human Intimi-tank Trip'r for christmas?

Thank You, Lifespawn for continuing the legacy of Sig. Please review and help craft some madness (This Is Sparta).

Here is the Idea, I play a Intimitank (pure FTR), and I am Cha oriented... my Problem is I am a dwarf, and have a massive penalty to overcome as I start a 32 point build with -2Cha. I really don't have in the dwarf's ability point budget enough to get INT to 13, which means I cannot buy Combat Expertise, therefore no Improved Trip.... I Want better Intimidates, IN FACT, I want the highest intimidates.

I want the Hound of Xoriat. The DC for the Hound is the highest in the game. There is a thread floating around about it, I can not find it in my favorites.

And that's not all, I want Tactics, I wanna drive something onto its back for a few moments of helplessness, while we beat it to death.

Here is the Principles of the build.

Assumption of a <possible> MultiClass, or Splash of something like Paladin (for Bulwark, and Cha increases).
    Assumption of a 32pt build.
Assumption of no tomes until 19th or 20th levels.

Absolute #1: AC is highest Priority. +5 Mithril Tower Shields, +5 Mith Full Plate, the Enhancements to increase
    Dex Mods... the good stuff.
Absolute #2: Intimidate has 2nd Highest Priority. (Is human dragonmark feat is too good to pass up?)
    Bullheaded, Skill Focus: Intimidate etc.
Absolute #3: Improved Trip, and DC increases via Vertigo weapons, and Ftr enhancements.

STR is very important but should be tempered so the toon is not fragile, need a little bit for Con, but still need to succeed on trip attempts vs all endgame trash. If we can build this build to Intimidate the Hound without a CHA tome, perhaps we can Use STR Tomes to increase the TRIP DC. I would love your feedback about balancing #3 and #4

Absolute #4: HP/Con has Fourth Place.

SO Ability Points are this order of Value:

    Dex>Cha>Str>Con>Int>Wis

Int comes before Wis for skill points upon level ups, and Wis should be disregarded, as I would like to take the feat that uses Cha for Will Saves. Say at about 9th?

    Direct email can be sent to princekermit (At) g m a i l (dot) C o m.
But I will be looking out for something to spawn here in the forums, on christmas morning. Or I will go shoot my eyes out with a red ryder bb gun.

    Happy Holidays =_)

Default 2 Weapon combatant AC & DPS 32pt & Drow available

Hi Lifespawn thankyou for continuing this gr8 work

I am tbh new to this style of D&D so apologies if I'm not too specific about what I am after, its lack of knowledge not laziness (If you look at the old thread please ignore my post page 57.)

I have 32 Point build available (How on earth do I get a 36 point one ?
I have the extra race Drow available.

I would like a good DPS character using 2 weapons, who can toe to toe with the best (If that is possible). I don't know how good the PvP end game is for D&D but I would like the character to hold his own when he finally reaches lvl 20.

I initially have in mind an axe in each hand mad Dwarven combatant who puts his head down and becomes a whirling dervish of steel..... alternatively Drow, a scimitar/rapier wielding Drizzt (Bet no-one has tried to create him before

My initial though was something below but I bow down to any variations and class mix you would reccomend.

    Rogue 1
    Fighter 1 or 2
    Ranger 17 or 18
Barbarian ? Would some kind of frenzy skill be useful

My main downfall when customising is that I do not know future free feats gained by class and level, and have found that I have been taking needless feats that I later receive for free and so nerfing my character.

I really hope you can help

    Default 28pt... Everything >.>

Hi! I recently decided to get a bit more into this game an I am currently on my way to my first 20!

Me and a friend are F2P and are grinding and buying a bit of TP to purchase enough packs to get to 20 and experience more of the game before we commit to a subscription.

So, that leaves us with grinding out quite a bit of TP. Not a bad thing in my eyes, however, as I don't really mind running the same content over and over. Our plan is to make toons on each server and get them up to 500 favor. This will net us 1925 TP total, of which we have already spent a bit as we've made a few toons on a few servers already during our first outings into DDO, and made some not-so-smart "investments." >.>

I play more than my friend so I'd like to start my TP grinding, mostly solo.

I'd like some builds to play with as I grind TP, only F2P races and classes please.

I'd like these builds to cover the following playstyles:

    Tanking
    Healing
    TWF
    THF
    Ranged
    Casting
    Buffing
    Crowd Control
    Trapsmithing

My thinking is something like a Tempest Ranger could cover "Ranged" and "TWF" and a Bard could cover "CC", "Buffing", and "Healing" or maybe even "Ranged" with the use of a Repeater.

I've already experienced some of these playstyles but they were experienced through poorly built toons with many mistakes.

If you do take on this project please keep in mind I might take these toons past their intended 500 favor (probably lv8) cap and on to higher content. That being said please keep any tome use to a minimum, only past level 12 and please keep in mind that gear will be of poor quality as I level so any build shouldn't require much gear to function (ex. wis req for pallies).

Ideally I'd like a different toon for each server but I'd think that way too much to ask.

    Thanks for reading! <3

    Default Heh

I did see the 28pt builds listed, but I think maybe I didn't clarify well enough.

I was looking for builds, that actually worked <.<, that would cover each playstyle, not a build *for* each playstyle.

Example in my post being the Bard being able to provide a taste of healing, buffing, CC, and perhaps ranged with a repeating heavy crossbow.

"Ideally I'd like a different toon for each server but I'd think that way too much to ask." I guess I could have worded that differently, what I was getting at was that I'd love to have a ton of builds for everything under the sun but I didn't expect it at all, nor should I.

I've looked over various posts but I hoped here I could get a few builds, 2-3, that would really cover everything DDO has to offer instead of a build or template that provided me with a well built, but specialized toon.

Also, I have tried making my own toons. I failed, but the community fixed everything for me (thanks guys ^^) so this time I thought I'd ask first and save myself the "oh? oh ok I didn't.. yeah but.. ah I see, thanks!" moments.

    Default Dual Class Paladin/Rogue

I currently have a Fighter/Rogue/Cleric 16/2/1 currently so I can adventure with a that I like but am wanting to build a new toon and thinking Paladin/Rogue. I have all 6 stats tomes +2 on hand to use and able to start a 32 build. Would like you to figure which race and levels would be the best at disabling traps, Locks and self heal.

    Default Haggling Warchanter

I want an endgame worthy, Super Haggling Warchanter. I want to use this as my purchasing mule but would also like to use the character. After all, I will get better prices with vendors the more faction I have with their respective house.

I can make 32pt builds. I like the Drow race but I am more sold on what ever gives me the best chance at endgame raiding.
Sword and board, THF, or TWF matters not to me either.
I do not have any Tomes available to me at this time. However, I can obtain some if they are needed to make the build work.

    hey there.

i'm looking for a CC based WF battlemage. essentially, throw some holds/other CC spells and then take them out with melee.

so a high enough DC to get the spells to stick...with a decent enough DPS/HP(or AC or DR or some combination of it all) to melee the things that avoid the spell(and those that get hit by the spell, but assuming i can melee those that avoid the spell, i should be able to melee those that get hit). self-healing/self-buffing would also be nice but isnt a huge necessity.

btw i'm limited to 28 point builds and no monk or FvS. would also be nice if the build didnt depend too much on tomes/extremely good or rare equips.

    Red face Er, yeah sorta

Yes I'd like as few builds as it would take to experience those main play styles. I figured it would only take 2-3 builds given that you could get a taste of most of those with just a bard.

Know it is a bit to ask but it would be a big help and could probably be used by many other F2P'ers that have decided to gather up some per server TP, and are still bad at building like I am.

http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=208850 for example, I'm sure playing the same build 7 times will get boring. Getting TP, learning how to play, along with getting to experience most of the play styles presented in DDO would be great in my mind.

Again, thank you for reading and at least considering this project. Hope you have a merry Christmas Lifespawn. ^^

hey lifespawn, just gotta say kudos for carrying on one of the most helpful threads on these servers.

on to my build, i'm looking for a 32pt, 2wf, warforged barbarian using khopeshes. i have my own build in mind, just wanna see what feats etc you come up with. use +2 tomes as needed, +1 of course not a problem.

    matty.

edit: didnt mention, but all raidloot is ok, he will grind everything

    Default 32 point build great/solo

I'd like to request the best solo build you know of. Class/Race are of no importance.

    Thanks

Thank you for all your great work Lifespawn!

I have 2 requests right now. (Changed a Bit)

    1. I would like to request a 28 pt, Dwarven Intimitank, with Stalwart Defender III, as well as the ability to use Trip and Stunning Blow well.

    2. I would like to request a 28 pt Monk/Favored Soul... not Favored Soul/Monk. I want to be able to cast self-buffs, be a backup healer in case of emergency, but mostly focus as a fist-fighter. Preferably, I would like access to the Master Stance of Air, as well as a moderate AC.

I have a mostly-complete build, I just wanted a second opinion and someone to review some tweaks for me.
It'll be a 36 point build, and does use a few tomes, but nothing past +3 dex. The most recent version I came up with is the post 10 on this thread: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...93#post2637193

The goals are high saves and ac. Above-average dps, DR, and hp are also considered to be high points, though in the current state it seems unable to tank horoth in tod (haven't been there yet so can't say for certain), and it is also built to solo with the ability to umd heal scrolls and such. So far in tomes I have +2 dex, con, int, and str, and a +3 wis. I foresee being able to get a +3 dex at least before I get to my second reincarnation, which will likely be my final.

On a side note, would you also mind building it assuming a full set of +3 tomes?

P.S. If you want some help getting through these things I might be able to help you build some of these characters. I'm generally pretty decent, used to be a master at nwn builds but ddo is still a bit new to me. I think I'm getting the hang of it by now though.

i had an idea for a Tempest Wizard, Possibly a 12 Wiz/6 Ranger/2 ?. I was wondering how you would build that.... preferably Dwarven with D Axes or Warforged with Khopesh. Also, should i go to rogue, for UMD and trap skills or 2 monk for extra feats. Thanks, Lifespawn
