Default About Devotion and Ardod Items..

I had a heated argument just 5 mins ago with a Cleric friend of mine.

    I have a lvl 6 FvS alt and he's a lvl 5 clrc.

I was using a Devotion Shield, cant remember the exact name, but it worked as follows: 20% healing for lvl 2 and lower spells.

Now, we both have Prayer Of Life Magic II (or the cleric equivalent). Im convinced that said Enhancement stacks with or the devotion item. He, playing with the SAME shield (it was present ^^) sais that he does not see any difference.
The description for Devotion items states that it will not stack with other items and pots. Doesnt say anything about enhancements, so I belive they work.

Am I right or wrong on this?? do devotion and prayer of life enhancement stack? or is it an alternative??

PS:I suggested he did some sampling: stand on a tavern, drink a quench item, and start spaming heals on himself. 10 with the shield, 10 without. He needs empiric evidence, I say get it.

feats stack with items stack with enhancements

youll be able to test this once you get the heal spell as that always heals a fixed number of hitpoints

the curespells all have a dice involved, so results may vary

    Talking

I figured feats stacks with enhancements stacks with item when i started geting Inferno items for my fire/ice sorcerer.

    Btw, awesome guide.

I'll advice him to read it, as it contains a lot more usefull information for a healer than simply settling this silly argument.

    Thanks for the answers

Perhaps your friend was also using a potency item that shadowed the devotion item... potency provides healing benefit as if it were devotion (as well as the other spell category benefits). The two do not stack.
