    Default Price Check

Every time I try to sell stuff via /Trade, I get flamed for overpricing. Then I allways go to AH, to check the price again, silly me, must be confused....and It turns out, the price was waaay larger than what I asked for.
    Every time.

Of course, when I ask the price of said item in /Advice /Trade I rarely get a response. When I do get one, is ussually "this f2p n00b people with theyr overpriced stuff"

So I ask: Are there two economies in the server? one for Newbies and one for more experienced players?? cause that seems to be the case. I bought a pair of feather falling boots (ML 5) for my alt today for only 50k gp, and saw in AH that the same item was being sold for millions in more than one ocation, hundreds of k on the rest.

Please, if anyone can advice on the estimated price (the minimum value I should ask for it as reference) on the following items:

    Dusk Heart
    Feather Falling Boots (ML 5)
    Feather Falling Boots (ML 7)
+1 Tome of bodily health (ML 3)
    Robe of invincibility (ML 4)
+4 stat enhancing items (cloaks, goggles, helms etc, ML 7)

    thanks a bunch

He's jerking your chain, Robe of Invincibility isn't worth much more then it's listed price, generally vendor trash.

generally the prices in the AH are a good guide to go by and you'd be better off selling it through the AH.

But if you really want to try and sell them them through a the chat channels I'd say take about 30% off the AH prices (generally the amount it would cost you for using the AH in the first place.)

Ignore the AH pretty much most prices there are totaly out of wack if an item looks good ask here and people will tell you if its worth something a lot of items you are better off just vendoring.

    some of the better items

    holy silver of pure good

    metaline of pure good

holy silver of some evil outsider bane

the power 5 items but not as much as they use to be

    paralyzing

    vorpal

    smitting

    disrtupting

    banishing

    then things like

    bloodstone

    firestorm greaves

Yes, I'm just playing around here Metal, but If it can really make me 'invincible' 10mil would be a small price to pay

Basically if you want to put them on the AH, put a buyout price as someone with a lot of plats and not a lot of patient might buy it even if it's priced higher than most people would pay.

If you put it up at the advice channel, just don't spam them, if they don't sell within a reasonable time you wouldk now that it's overpriced.

Feather Falling Boots (ML 5) - can be worth quite a bit since it's the min lvl for normal perm FF item

Most of the Exceptionally overpriced AH Items are Plat farmers tryign to drive Gold Sales. The rest are just morons.

It actually makes me feel a little better knowing u were just kidding...i've sold like 3/4 robes of invincibility for less than 80k gp each...Turns out it was a good deal after all.

I ussually have lot of items for sale at AH, and they sell good. (mostly buyouts). If the item is 18k base price, i start the initial price at 18k and Buyout 25k or something like that. Allways when i think the item might be usefull (pure good weapons, some elemntal resistant armor, etc)
    The rest goes to pawnshops.

The thing is, I allways end up thinking: Try and sell directly to the ppl who buy the stuff and keep the whole money to myself (bypass of AH costs).
    Never worked ^^

I guess i'll ask in here the price for the items i think may be worth it.
The price at AH is crazy, and i think thats why im doing so well selling cheap.

Anyway, i dont have plat issues, but im spending all my plat equiping some new players (ppl from my tabletop games i dragged into ddo ^^) and Im triying to make the most out of my loot.

Thanks for the answers, and if someone can advice a price for those Feather Falling Boots (ML 5) i would apretiate it (my Alt Barbarian is going reaching lvl 7, so the ML 5 is going to AH. Perfect condition btw)

    Cheers

I think lvl 5 boots should be worth at least a little bit not sure of the exact amount and my character on this server is for sure to poor.

When I duel someone I like to dual wield. with my rouge wearing rogue.
