The thing is, people should not be "forced" into taking the spell "reconstruct" as a sorcerer or else not inviting them to the raid party. The sorcerer was asked to eat the cost of swapping the spell and then swapping it back. After X number of pots used in an elite raid with no compensation was provided either by the warforged leader. That put bad taste in my mind regarding warforged; especially warforged melees.

I have no problem with this if it were an all warforged party.

So because of one bad raid leader you want to punish many other players? No deal.

Would prefer that docents with the same qualities as other raid/named armours drop in those same loot tables. However, if not, then there should be some mechanism, such as a stone of change, where we can take such a robe/armour etc and change it into a docent with all the same effects/qualities. The current system has always felt discriminatory against wf, and every mod/update since mod5 just reinforces that feeling.

P.S. hey Wizzly (signing out shortly, have to get to work! )

One thing I have noticed about docents is that they really seemed to be oriented toward Caster/Divine types but there is little for pure melees like Fighters and Barbarians. I would like to see a few more docents that help the melees.

A more named Docents would be nice too.

I disagree about Docents only dropping when warforged are in the party, thats part of the draw. I have a lvl 11 Warforged fighter, do you know how many useless Full Plate Armor I have pulled?

The game wouldnt be fun if all you pulled was the awesome stuff, you need to pull alot of junk as well so that you feel good when you get finally get something decent.

You see, the thing is..if a group is using tactics you disagree with, instead of joinging the party and debating about it, search the LFM panel your channels or your guild tab for other groups.

Reconstructing WF is a viable and solid tactic when done correctly.

When things like what you described happen, its not the tactics fault. the tactic did not step up and tell the players how to employ it, it simply waited to be used correctly, and obviously wasn't

    Imagine if you would...

    They redo VoN for Epics.

VoN drops a named Docent... The Docent of Grace.

    Now, imagine if you will...

    +6 Enhancement
    +6 Dexterity
    +4 Dodge
    +10 Tumble
    +10 Balance

    I know.. I know

    Not going to happen.

I would prefer less Docents actually, in fact I would prefer they ditch WF's alll togather and add Half-Orcs but I don't see that happening soon

    Docent of Defiance
    Docent of Quickening
    Dusk
    Titanic Docent
    Docent of the Claw/Flame
    Giantcrafted Docent
    Docent of Defense
    Nightforge Docent
    White Dragonscale Docent
    Docent of Blood

are all really good for the melee WF... although why anyone would play one is beyond me

The problem is that most of those docents were rendered obsolete by the DT armor... but then again, so was most fleshie armor.

I dont understand the complaint. The current docents in DDO are stupid powerfull, I honetly cant find other armor (at least in robe/outfit form) that even comes close! Defaince in raids is especially amazing.

But hey, cant argue with adding new items. =)

Its not so much that we don't have useful ones as it is we dont get any new ones. I'm sick of looking at DT/DoD.
