18 Fighter/ 2 Rogue Help Please

I wanted to build a tanking character, and after reading a few forums posts it seemed that splashing 2 in Rogue is very nice for the rogue Feat Evasion. So I did that (5 Fighter/ 2 Rogue), but now I see when I get hit by any AoE a warning coming up saying I cant evade while wearing Heavy Armor. So I found some nice Medium Armor (+1 Mithril Full Plate), but see I cant evade using Medium Armor either?!?

Can someone explain the point of splashing this then?

I feel like I gimped by tank now

Because unless your an intimitank AC is useless anyways? You can only wear light armor or robes/outfit. Get a mithral bp. Also, on a fighter, since the capstone is insanely uber, splashing those two rogue lvls (evasion and UMD) still ends up being worse than 10% melee alacrity.

Ok I found out the answer to my original question. It seems the builds I was looking at were for the race Warforged, and yep, they dont use armor. So they could benefit from Evasion. Gah!
