Note I used a +1 INT tome at lvl 1 to get that extra skill point. (I assume that +2 tomes cannot be consumed until lvl 7). The +3 tomes added at lvl 20 are only for endgame purposes (assuming I dedicate a lot of raid time on this character).

I am hoping to stay with dwarven axes and enjoy dual wielding weapons as the extra swings are great for seeking critical hits. I hope this build provides a great AC as I will seek a dragontouched full plate (15 bonus AC with 7 max dex bonus AC). Along with my feats and enhancements, throw on a chaos band, chattering ring, +1 from alchemical crafting, slam down some bark and haste pots I can get my AC probably to the 60's maybe 70's with party buffs.

I gave a lot of attention to confirming critical hits, my question is: Will my dps be worthy of end games?

I did find myself with 1 extra AP remaining, should I have allocated my ap's a little better?

    Aren't +1 tomes min lvl 3?

    Question

Why do you have crit accuracy?

Seems as if +1 tomes are min lvl 3. So that will result in 2 fewer points which I would probably take 1 out of balance and intimidate. The increased crit % is to improve my damage output.

I'm not sure I understand your post. Are you saying my build is not good? Are you saying 68 AC is not good enough? If you looked at my build you would see that I have the Force of Personality Feat, so my 14 Charisma + gear and buffs should fare well when trying to clear a will/char check during those crit/vorp attacks, no?

He's really stating something pointless and irrelevant. Since a natural 20 always hits...and since you have to roll a 20 to get a vorpal strike, he's trying to say that a low level character can get a vorpal attack on you at level 3.

What he's missing is the other obvious details. There are no vorpal's that have a ML low enough for a level 3 to use...and even a vorpal must be a confirmed critical which requires a second roll...and I don't think the confirmation roll gets the same criteria (20 aways confirms)...although I'm not certain. Either way...a pair of 20's back to back are *unlikely*.

The other part hinted at are criticals which are under the same criteria. Again, back to back 20's are still unlikely.

Perhap's he's also referring to grazing blows which can't do either of the above?
Anyways, that'd be my version of why his statement was pointless and irrelevant. It's just an attempt to confuse you.
It's also likely that he'll come back with...look at the smiley's...I wasn't serious.

    Good luck

Cool concept, I like it, may even try something similiar.

I see you focused alot into confirming crits. . . to be honest, I don't honestly think you'll need that much, as you shouldn't be missing much with your full Weapon Focus line and you'll likely have a Seeker item to help on crits. I think I'd probably drop Power Critical in favor of Stunning Blow, Oversize TWF, another Toughness or perhaps something like Iron Will or Luck of Heroes for some extra saves.

For Enhancements I think I'd go along the same lines, and maybe dump the Critical Accuracy enhancements in favor of more hit points (Dwarf Con II + Toughness) and increasing my trip and stunning blow DCs (if you pick it up).

As for your dps at the endgame, there are pleanty of builds that will be better. However, I think that you'll be doing pleanty once you get geared up you'll be able to hang with the average dps that you'll see in most PUGs. With Weapon Alacrity and Haste Boost, Weapon Spec/Greater Weapon Spec, Defensive Stance, and the axe damage enhancements you should be able to do pleanty of damage.

However you decide to put it together, give it a run and let us know how it works out!

*edit* Had a thought, something I'd totally forgotten about: Defensive Stance III will be great for you in a number of controlled boss fights. +4 str/con, +3 save, +4 Dodge to AC is pretty hot, and coupled with the 200% incite (if it's working correctly?) would be really nice. As such, having more hit points will be handy for you, as you should be able to hold agro reasonably well for the applicable fights.

Dump power crit and crit accuracy. Total waste on a build like this. If you want to do serious crits take khopesh and go kensai.

I have almost the exact same build, except I started with 15 con and 12 int (made when no ML on tomes ).

I would suggest dropping Iron will for Bullheaded. For one less will save you get +2 intimidate. Also drop power crit at all costs! Skill focus-UMD is not a bad choice, or Iron Will, another toughness, just about anything.

I have a question that pertains to this build, I guess. I see that you've gone with TN for alignment, which I assume is for Stability and so you're not as suseptible to certain damage types? Is TN the best way to go for a tank then? Just curious before I put my tank together!

Thanks for your input, I adjusted the build to take out power critical feat and critical accuracy enhancements, plugged in some toughness, constitution and another dwarven spell resistance enhancement. I am not seeking a max dps build, but a decent one, with good tanking ability for bosses that can be "controlled", one come to mind is Vision of Destruction. Will this build be able to be the main tank in this Raid?

I just started with this build yesterday. Is it possible to go Kensei with these starting stats for a two weapon fighter or should i just stick with Stal Defender?
