Default Help with drow build, thinking bard

This is my first Drow character. Although I have a rather dis-like for drow, "Try Dming a campaign when half your players want to be drow, yet all of them forget the weakness to sunlight......" I won't denied their power.

I was think Bard fits perfectly for them. Dex, Int, and Cha, all are essentail to bard.

I was thinking Of splashing 2 levels of another class. 2 levels of maybe rogue. Maybe a Level of ranger and a level of fighter. Or one level of Rogue, one level of ranger.

I don't want to go two levels of ranger, since that would temped me all too much to want to do a twf build, with scimitars...... "Again bad memories with my old group. O you want to rebel agasint your family too? You want a Panther familiar, really?!?!"

    Suggestions?

Also, are they weak against sunlight in this game?

As far as Bards go, I'm still struggling with mine, and can't advise from an informed perspective.

Edit: There is no daylight penalty to playing a Drow. Unfortunately, the game also doesn't delve into the advantages Drow and Elves would have in a dark environment.
