Question about Dragons

Okay this screenshot is Velah... how big are the Black, White and Blue in comparison to this one, cuz man.. she's awesome!! For those who've played Runescape... THIS IS A DRAGON!

I dont think they are quite as big as Velah. It's been a while since I ran the VON series though...

Are you going to be around tonite or this weekened? I'll help you out with TOR and you can see for yourself

You remember Aussircaex, the white dragon in Misery's Peak? More or less that size, sadly (although some parts of Tor would be... intresting... if the dragons were the size of Velah...)

Unlike Velah, the other dragons are real dragons...well at least closer to real dragons, they don't just sit there like a pathetic and unintelligent firetrap.

They are definitely smaller, but they aren't confined to a platform where they face in only one direction and generally don't do much--the other 5 dragons move! And some sort of jump, too!

Slightly less visually impressive, but the fights are far more entertaining!

DEVS! FIX VON 6 SO THAT THE FIRST DRAGON FIGHT IN THE GAME ISN'T A TOTAL LETDOWN!

The black, white and blue dragons of Gianthold Tor are baby dragons with Giant protectors. In Reaver's Refuge, the white dragon is not as big as Velah but is a mother protecting her young. Be careful with her, if you **** her off, her mate will come to her aid to annihilate you.

Yep I'll be on this weekend (when not feeding my young) and am flagged, finally (thanks to Missing_Minds!!) for the TOR would loooooove to run that quest!!

Let me tell you, I am waaay pumped to see them dragons in the Tor.. I've loved dragons since about 4 minutes before I was born. It's actually whatI wanted for christmas when I was like 10 and had just played my first game of D&D with my brothers.

I'm sad that I have to kill them in the Tor instead of making them my steed, but I understand this is the natural order of things. Plus I really want some cool dragon armor so I wanna start "grinding" for some, yes I know Shroud is better, but I want what I want .

Now if we could face of V the Black dragon from the Necropolise Quest that would be amazing. ( i have not run the Raid just the pre-quests) so i dont know if you ever face him?

Well okay, actually just back to work because if I was going home.. I'd be calling my answering machjne and making a "clapping noise" to have the "Clapper" turn on my PC and start running the "ON START" Macro to load DDO so it will be up and ready for use the instant I cross the threshold, but whaaaaatevaaaaaa....

...yes, it is a grind but I love it and you can wear it at lvl 14. When I say its a grind..im not exaggerating..i've grinded 7 sets - 5 of them were blue...and it seems that blue never drops and EVERYONE wants it lol...so yea i've ran it a time or 2

. It's definitely worth it.

That works! I was gonna heal it but I have a WF wizzy that needs blooding

. We should all try to hook up when the time is good either tonite or this weekend? I can pretty much be available anytime after 6PM tonight (ususally raiding later at night)..tomorrow and Sunday anytime.

Sweeet that's 3.. I need to see the Real Estate Broker in GH to see if can have my home built in that little patch just east of the Bank so I can just sorta live there till my vinyl siding is replaced with dragonscales.

Um, actually I don't know Caine's toon names.. yet... So add to the "Moving to the TOR" list below

Its too bad you were not on the Beta Server this summer. At the end of the test, the developers pulled a pretty awesome evening of fun and destruction.

You know how you can sometimes see a dragon flying high overhead above the marketplace at times....

Well during that EPIC evening the developers were bringing in waves and waves of monsters from many of the quests. Named Dragons, and Beholders and Maruts and high end Devils and Demons, all at the same time. In the Marketplace, the Harbor, Gianthold and spots in House K and House D for sure. Nothing like fighting a half dozen dragons at once, with most spells useable in the marketplace, at the same time Beholders and Devils are popping around.. High end chaos and excitment. They even had permanent Temp shrines set up so people could rerez and rerez themselves time and time again. It was also part of a stress test so the developers could justify having fun like they did.

Having HUGE Gelatious Cubes marching on the Harbor!
