Veteran Status and 1st Death

I was playing my bard, which of course was lvled to 4 with the veteran status.

She had her first death doing tangleroot and I decided to recall out, we were farming that part of tanleroot for xp that you can do in 2 min on elite and someone kind of crited on me! But that is beside the point.

When I rest out I come up in Korthos, you would expect on the sunny side of it.
But I found Jeets screaming at me and wishing to give me a weapon. Now I don´t know if I was just not reading and didnt see the skip tutorial option or if there was even one. But needless to say instead of getting xp in tangleroot I need to run the tutorial again and couldn´t catch up with the party.

Can we just change veteran status resloc points to the harbor or the marketplace please it just is an inconvenience!

Well whenever I start a new character as veteran status I do a /death to go to Karthos Island so I can get the Water Breathing ring.

So please don't change the Bind point.

That sucks...lol.

I was shocked to end up in front of Jeets again when mine died..I made sure I skipped the tutorial . Kortho's makes me sleepy.

LOL, XiiGage did the same thing at lev 6,,,,,,, soloing deleras. bing right to jeets,,,,,,lets just say it took more than 5 to get back,

I died too somewhere and had Jeets screaming at me but I had the option to skip.

I forgot to bind also.

I got all the gear from skipping. The ring of water breathing clickie, the fire sword - not like I really needed that - the other junk you get also. I like my ring. That is the only thing that I really wanted from that part untill I get enough pp to buy or loot an underwater action item.

I did wonder if this happend to other people or if it was just a buggy moment.

Haven't thought about it again till now.

No need to fix this because it's not broke, it's nice to be able to go to Jeets and get that ring (if your on Orien server it's real nice as water breathing items aren't so easy to get) and I guess they figure if your using "Vet status" you probably know enough to bind in taverns.

i dont know anyone thats plays a toon to die either. but if you think before you act things like that dont happen. i have forgotten at times to bind somewhere as well... no big deal thats my fault not something wrong with the game

You probably rushed the conversation with Jeets, if this happens again and you "miss" the Skip Tutorial simply logging out and back in again will reset his opening conversation, assuming you haven't followed him and taken a weapon from him.

This game has changed quite a bit in the past few years. When I was young, in order to get to tangleroot you were forced to go right through a tavern (which, conveniently enough, and not unlike any other tavern I'm aware of, included a bind point). My, how the times have changed.

That's still true. But people (including me) forget to bind, sometimes.
