    Default Shroud crafted items...

So my clerics are in the Shroud now...yay!

I already know what I want to make for my healing focused cleric, but I need some help fine tuning the items for my battlecleric.

I'm fairly certain one weapon is supposed to be holy, acid burst/blast, transmuting/keen/etc. My question is, should the other have a +2 exceptional stat on it? AC seems wasted, as I'll never have enough to matter.

    Holy +1 WIs, +2 Wis/Mineral II.

Best of both worlds. +3 Wis, Keen, Metaline, Holy. Its the perfect Batlecleric weapon IMO. Unless, Of course, you are one of those battle clerics that Dump stated Wisdom...

assuming you didn't dumb stat wisdom i'm more a fan of 2 min II's, one with +1 wis and the other with +2 wis rather then putting all the wisdom on one weapon. But really it's splitting hairs at that point, totally a personal preference.

But then you giving away wisdom if ya have to switch to a scroll/Wand/Potency/Lore item in your other hand...

If your current wisdom score (assume it's level 20 character) put you in even number without exceptional wisdom bonus, then it's not a bad idea to build it with Holy / Acid Burst / Wisdom +2 (so your weapon can do slightly better damage against those who are not immunity/resist to acid).

Also keep it in mind that new ToD ring also provide similar function for exceptional bonus (and you can't craft any damage amp on those ring unless you are going to do some handwrap fighting)

I wonder is it a good idea to put +6 to Wis or Con instead of holy for my Caster Cleric?

Mt Str-based battlecleric went for Holy, Acid Burst, Exceptional Con +2 on the greataxe.

Honestly, the difference between 26 and 28 Wisdom is a lot less important than the difference between 36 and 38 (which for offensive caster clerics is what the +2 exceptional Wisdom means). The +2 Wisdom grants you +1 save DC to spells that you will seldom use (precisely because for an Str-based battlecleric, melee is much more efficient than Destruction/Implosion at killing even non-rednames). Plus, you'll often have a heal scroll in hand rather than a weapon, and it's at those times that spell DCs are more likely to matter. (The boost to bladebarrier from +2 Wisdom, whilst nice, is far from amazing - BB rocks without the +2 wisdom on non-evasive foes, and still sucks on evasive foes with the +2)

I then recommend +2 Str on your first ToD ring, and +2 Wisdom on the second. That setup gets you the extra HP when you need them (when you are engaged in melee), and completely reliable sources of strength and wisdom. Careful though: Don't switch from your weapon to Heal scrolls when you have <21 HP if you follow my advice. Carry Cure Serious potions in small numbers in case you ever find yourself in this situation, and quaff one when you have under 21hp, need to use heal scrolls and cannot spare a Heal spell cooldown (or SP) for yourself.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

I'm with sirgog on this one, myself. My battle cleric is doing the same, or very similiar. I went Acid, Good Burst, Excep Con +2 on my maul for the same reasons.

I'm working on getting TOD ready, though, and I do have some questions there... what would you recommend set-wise? I am planning on doing +2 str +2 wis, just don't know what would be best to put them on. Shintao Monk and Warpriest? The +15 concentration from the monk necklace is nice, as is the extra damage. Will the extra to-hit from Warpriest make a big difference, or would I be better off going for something like 2 more damage from the Frenzied Berzerker set? Any opinions?

I'll always vote for Ravager Set.

    1) It's belt,so you can use it with Shantao Monk set.

    2) The ring comes with +6 strength (while it's not a big deal consider many battle cleric may wear Levik's Bracer already, however, it may free up your bracer slot and using it for Bracer of the Glacier when you feel fit) so it may save you one item slot

    3) Ravager Set was the best damage set for non-prestige class against non-undead / constructor target ( it's 2d6 untype-slash damage for non- undead / constructor target and function as a 5 tick dot )
