Does this work with the Quicken Spell and Empower Healing feats?

Works with all metamagics that any other cure spell works with. Quicken, Heighten, Maximize, Empower, Empower Healing. Maybe Enlarge too.

quicken doesnt lower the cooldown for normal spells so ofc it wont lower it for a clicky either

Do I need to actually know the CLW spell to use "Favored Soul Ascendancy: Healing Word" or does it give you access to the spell in of itself? Would like to drop CLW and get Remove Fear if I can.

No, you can get rid of CLW.

My Healing Word goes for between 50 and ~150. Other than 3 or 4 heals I used Healing Word to take me and a paladin through Devil Assault on elite, it's really that useful.

It is utterly insane when used in conjunction with extreme healing amplification toons.

A TR3'ed (from Paladin all three times) Solar Phoenix build would have over 460% healing amp - making the Word heal for 341 on a non-crit and a whopping 938 (average) on a crit.

Superior Ardor 1 (or better) active - numbers get more obscene with an active Eardweller
FvS Life Magic 4
Maxxed healing crit intensity enhancements
Major Healing Lore, OR Greater Healing Lore with Rakhir's Set
