I believe the only banishing slasher in the game is a raidloot item from the abbot.

Yes I believe Banishers do not come in slashers (in general), much to my chagrin as I too would like a nice Keen, Seeker Longsword of Banishing myself. C'est la vie.

    *EDIT* Just researched:
    Ascension Chamber (Lvl 17 Raid)
    - Enduring Conviction - +5 Longsword: Banishing, Absolute Law (2d6 against non-lawful), Greater good (2d6 against non-good), requires Good alignment or UMD of 30 (no need to be Lawful) - I WANT THIS FOR XMAS + EASTER + 4th of JULY BABY!!

For monks but personally would not feat in kama for it on another class unless dream edges were all you were ever going to use... Banishing only comes on pierce and bludgeoning weapons... Enduring Conviction and an random effect on a dreamedge (kama)...

Banishing triggers on a crit against a 25 HD mob and a DC against will of 24...

    1. Enduring Conviction being a longsword is crit threat 19-20 and (17-20 for an IC: Slashing spec'd)
    2. Dreamedge being a kama crit threat is 20 (19-20 for someone IC: Slashing spec'd)
    3. Banishing hammer - crit threat is 20 (19-20 for someone IC: bludgeoning spec'd)
    4. banishing short sword - crit threat is 19-20 (17-20 for someone IC: pierce spec'd)
    5. banishing rapier the OP has 18-20 (15-20 for someone IC: pierce spec'd)

Before I had my cake knife (Enduring Conviction) I sometimes used to use a short sword as a banisher in my fighter's off hand from time to time when I wanted. I mainly stuck with a other weapons for dps, cursing etc... and left the banishing to the rogue/ranger etc... but in those times like coal chamber the short sword did it's part from time to time... A rapier is nicer on a peirce spec... but if you think about it in the hands of a slashing spec'd character it triggers just 5% less then Enduring Conviction for the Slashing spec'd character. Pierce spec'd + rapier being 5% better at it still... Enduring Conviction however is much more useful for the slasher then most banishiers in the fact that it's +5 and has Greater Good and Absolute Law ... thus does medium dps on top... only place I use it is vale (normal sometimes hard).

Slashing and bludegeoning builds are typically built more dps on average then average pierce builds (Str vs Dex) - not to say STR + pierce, especially picks are not fantastic but is the tendancy of lower str higher dex finesse build around pierce for stat damage and yes banishing, etc...

My opinion, for the OP... use the rapier off-hand on occasion, places like coal etc... run some Abbot's and when you get Conviction ... then trade the rapier for some scales and stuff... Banishing really has become a low side high-end weapon these days, works in vale but has no place in end-game.
