Wondering about khopesh/dwarf axe.

So is dwarven axe STR or DEX based weapon? And is fighter or ranger better with it? Also... Is AC so important to DPS fighter?

And i just wanna reguest build for Human tempest, 32 build, dwarf axe use. Thanks

Dwarven axe is a str weapon, it cannot be finessed to use dex. Only rapier and all light weapons can be finessed as dex weapons for attack bonus (and of course ranged).

Khopeshs are SLIGHTLY better end-game, and fighters can generally afford the extra feat. Dwarven Axes can be very nice for STR based rangers, because rangers are a little short on feats, dwarven axes come free w/ dwarves, and you get enhancements to up the damage.

Also... Is AC so important to DPS fighter?
Some fighters ignore AC and take tons of damage. Some fighters care about AC, and require much less healing. Though in order to have great AC, you need to make some sacrifices to DPS.

Your asking for tempest (requires ranger prestige level 6) build in the fighter forums
For your information: Humans have the extra feat, and therefor often makes more sense to get Khopesh instead, and Dwarves get axe damage enhancements, which allow them to benefit the most from a dwarven axe.

As a Human the Khopesh feat comes "free" as well. And you gain up to +30% more healing amp which synergines incredibly well with the healing spells a ranger gets.
