Why am I getting old message updates?

I have been getting notifications from the forum all day telling me that people have replied to my threads but the messages it is sending me are like 2 weeks old. I did double check them and it is sending me old messages, the threads are old and dead and no one has posted in them in a while. I do not have "weekly up dates" set, I have instant up dates set on all of my subscriptions. I am not even subscribed to any of the thread I am getting up dates on.

I want to make sure that every one understand this is not user error, I did not misread or fudge my settings. I rechecked every thing 3 times and I had already read the messages once before. In some cases I have received notifications on the same message as many as three times, not the same thread, the same specific message. This is all in the past 12 hours. Something on the server's end changed.

I got the same thing this morning. My guess is that there was a hard server
crash, and when they did the recover, some old stuff went out again.

In any case, not your fault.
