total spell penetration ratign stats

i realize there is no way to tell unless im missing something how much my total spell penetration rating is and this is a very important stat imo, could we maybe have a spell stats window added for casters on our char sheet tab. like showing our total fire/elec/acid/etc etc damage rating when we equip new gear so we can test if a piece is stacking or not and our total spell stats etc etc etc. it would be really good to have i think

well that isn't to hard, all in all.

General rule. Unless stated very clearly in the spell effects / Item effects, they do NOT stack, Only the higher one of the two (for the level of spell) is accounted for.

Generally. (without some super special item, that would clearly state that it statcks with other items/spells)
Feats (rare if any) stack, AP enhancmentes {stack}, Item/Spell Effect (highest one applies, (to current spell level/type)

So It's easy to figure out per spell level, and type, since there are only 3 variables really. (well, those 3 can get alittle fuzzy, but most are smart enough to figure it out)

you could check your combat log, e.g.

(Combat): You roll to see if your spell penetrates Fiend-Blood Troglodyte Warmaster's spell resistance. You roll a 1 (+30): spell penetration success!

but heres the thing i have feats that grant spell penetration upto improved spell penetration plus a q-staff that grants +2 , and the staff says nothing about not stacking with other items.

feats stack with enhancements with your single best spell pen item.

feats + enhancements + single best item + (caster based bonus, can't remember if its caster level or level/2, something like that.)
