Im sure I have asked this question before, and I can't remember now...can the locks in part three be knocked with a wand? If so I can take care of that...can't fight my way out a paper bag still but I can heal with the best of em.

I don't think so - Phidius carries a wand of Knock caster level 10, and had to resort to breaking the crystals a while back.

I think I heard you could but you have to have the second or third tear of wand and scroll mastery. But I have never tried it myself I just solve my puzzle.

Personally I don't see how it works ether.

Edit: nevermind - clerics don't get the Wand Heightening enhancement line

From what I have seen - wands will not work on locks

as long as you don't go shortman you don't need lock pickers - we lost 2 chests on our all-monk run because we went with 11 and got unlucky with nobody in a room. And yes, a knock wand won't cut it I'm afraid, but you could always just buy a bell thingy off the DDO store if you really wanted the extra 2 chests.

My vote is to comet-fall any room that fails to be solved before the first pass by the wall.


That way, we all get at least one large scale in part 4

Sorry to hear - maybe we will try a diffent night in the future!

I do agree - when the wall come up - forget the chests and comet fall away....

By the way - be sure to stock up on some of the pots (haste, rage, etc) if you normally don't carry them
