    Default Druid

I have been with DDO since release, and I have seen it come a long way. From spells not working at all, to level 20. Good job Turbine.

Now, its time for Druids. We appreciate the monks but those of us that want to attune with nature in the form of a Druid are being left out. I'd like to see other post their desires for Druid here also, so Turbine can see that there is a large population that would like to play a druid.

Please don't post reasons why Druids are hard to implement. We have enough of those threads. This is a vote for druids. Programming is programming, and it can be done.

Don't see how they could get Druids working, if you aren't going to let Wizards/Sorc have Polymorf then you can't let Druids have Wild Shape (Which is one of the only reason to play a Druid). I'd personally like to see both Polymorf and Wild Shape in the game as they should be.

While Wild Shape would potentially be problematic, to say that is the only reason one would want to play a druid is, IMO, false. Wild Shape would be very neat, and if the Natural Spell feat was not implimented, it would be far from broken. But, even without it druids would be valuable due to the very nice spell list they have. Just for a very fast example - imagine a character who - without MC or UMD - can cast Barksin, full heals, and Wall of Fire. Useful?? I think so.

/signed. And if you think wild shape is the only reason to play druid ya need to go back and check their spell list

"Hit points=DPS! You aren't doing ANY DPS when ur dead!"
    and like that,.......he was gone.

Seeing in how most vets are toon capped and are pretty much just running raid after raid to get them equiped and alot have no desire to buy a slot just to make a different version of the toon they already have, If they did come out with a Druid or other classes/races this would mean big money for turbine, Buying the class/race just to unlock it, and then buying the slot. thats a ton of points spent by players.

I just dont know if this game will last long enough, Im sure they are atleast planning future titles if not already in production, (DDO 2) Maybe? Hopefully!!

Yes I understand that the New DDO is a big success but in 2 years this game will definatly be dated, Take that along with so many other companies trying to get the rights to Dungeons & Dragons so they can make theyre own D&D based games, ( Take in point Dragon Age Origins, They gave up and just made the title without D&D mechanics but im sure they are still trying to get the rights.

I Hope they will atleast make 2 More classes and Races, But im doubtful, I dont think they should be taking a good percentage of the profits from this game and poor them back in when they could take them and make a DDO 2. Just my Opinion though.

I think Druids would be a welcome addition to the game, as would Half-Orcs and Gnomes.

Please gimme Druid! Pretty Please! My favorite class, left by the way side and it deeply wounds me. Shape changing is cool, but Druids have the best utility of any class with their spell list. In the outdoor dungeons, they would be kings and queens. In the dungeon, they would still be useful.

    In any case................ /signed

    Default Druid should be added

    /signed.

To Dev Group: Druids should be added simply for their spell list and RP aspects. Just leave out shape shifting like you did with Polymorph spell.

The PHB2 druid shapeshifting variant is much less broken than their PHB1 wild shape. It's also wicked fun to play!
