Currently Playing a Warforged Barbarian THF and I gave it Adamantine body at the first level but now I'm wondering if I'm getting a penalty because I only have medium armor prof (Barb)...just wondering becuase its not actual armor and i don't have the "!" icon saying I'm not prof.
Also since I mentioned the "!" icon is there any way to turn that off I've got a heavy pick on my wiz thus not proficient but I only have it for the effect (Power 2 i think) and that icon is kind of annoying.

No. WF can always use their bodies. However it will interfere with things like evasion and cause arcane spell failure, if applicable.

The only way to remove the ! would be to take Heavy Pick as a martial feat - which would be a waste. Just live with it till ya find something better, or in a weapon type you Wiz is proficient in. Originally Posted by Failedlegend

I believe (I know in Table Top) that Adamantine Body equivalites to a full suit of armor (which is Heavy). As such, the speed increase that barbarians are supposed to get will be affected, and you'll probably be at minuses until you take "Heavy Armor Prof". I could be wrong, but at your next level up where you get a feat, take heavy armor or a 1 level of fighter and see what happens. Originally Posted by Failedlegend
