How do you self-heal for 330+?

What healing amplification items do you have...

The penalty duration is simply refreshed each time you drink one, back up to 30 seconds.

-10 stats on most classes is devastating, on a barbarian it's not so bad. As you mainly just rely on strength and con, and at lvl20 you can easily bring those scores to 60/50+, meaning a 10 pnt drop will still have you above most other classes.
Also the -50 runspeed can kill any slow class as well.. But a barb you can simply hit sprint boost to almost totally negate it.

The tough part is getting a 6 base cha to 11.. But I keep it above 10 all the time now. Generally +2 tome = 8, +1 lotd = 9, +2 from ToD ring = 11, or +3 from ring of uknown orogins = 12.

There are lesser ones too, same -10 stats, but no movement penalty. however they only heal 100.. So infact the first one you drink doenst heal you at all. As -10 con = -100 max hp, so you have to drink multiples to have much effect.

There is a way to double up the penalty.. Use the 2 diferent types, lesser and regular.. But thats avoidable by being careful enough to only slot 1 type of potion at a time.
Wait, there's two types of silver flame potions? And one heals for 300+?

Ah, there's one that heals for 100 and one that heals for 250... I never knew that (none of my characters have 400 silver flame favor).

I always thought there was just one and it healed for 100, which I figured wasn't worth it...

250 seems overpowered to me... The 100 made more sense, since it was similar to a heal scroll...

I remember people saying you couldn't dps these giants and had to use wounders.. Heh.. Times have changed.
    Nice video, Shade...

One suggestion - craft a displacement clickable from the Shroud, and you won't drop dangerously low to 90 hit points next time...

But then he wouldn't need a cleric stapled to his ass all the time! I am astonished you'd even suggest this!

"a" cleric?? Shade only rolls with 3 clerics and two casters (for haste!) minimum

I also notice he used a haste potion, instead of 3x longer lasting haste clickable from the Shroud...

Someone take that guy into the Shroud and let him pike a few runs, so he can craft some stuff that's useful (instead of a Tier III fire axe)

I already have one. It's in the bank where it belongs. It takes me long enough to go thru my already too long list of clickies, not using another one.

Besides if I end every ecounter nearly dead, it is more fun for that cleric who i keep strapled to me. Don't want them to get bored.

I have a few.. Bar 4, slot 4.. Hotkey: H, also the cloak i have on, left on by mistake.
But you can't use them while raged or on the annoying 6 second clicky cooldown.

Just wear a +6 cha skills air item and get free haste. The cha skills also helps with inti-- wait a second...

    Default agreed

i am currently leveling a frenzied berzerker & the dps crushes any twf character that i have ever played

it is very tough to play because of having to always have a healer present or spending plat on potions, but there is no question that it is the ultimate dps currently in the game in my mind

HELLO!!did anyone else post up thier two weapon fighting video that shows the same awesome feat?hell no,and you will not see it.period.(if someone posts thier own video i will gladly retract my comments, but i must first see it)this vid shows that this mod has made the thf frenzied barb KING of dps hands down.if ya have an arguement about that, please refer back to the video at the front of this post.
f.y.i,barbarians are supposed to be the best at dps and shrugging off massive amounts of punishment.
not a ranger a pally or especially a rogue, those classes have other specific and equally important roles in the game.
i for one am glad that the devs saw this and changed it to the way it should be,
now,,where the ****is my caster blaster prestigeclass???(cant remember the name of it)
i wanna be the one disrupting the casters b4 they instakill me!
good job shade, keep up the good fight and smash well.

How can you say that without trying a TWF frenzied berserker?

Or maybe you did make a TWF and compared it to other TWF's. If so, welcome to single target dps.

I had a human 15barb/2ftr twf khopesh and a wf 17barb thf when the cap was raised to 20. The thf had a noticeable dps lead, even though the 15/2 had madstone boots.

Oh, well, THAT is enough of a sample to make an absolute judgment about the two builds! No more thought needed in this department!

The original comment was based on toons in the progress of being lvled. Btw, at cap, the thf is still the dps monster.

How different would the performance of an Elf barb be as compared to a Dwarf? I can see some HP differences by a bit, maybe 40 to 60 less HP? Also DPS a factor?

Stunning blow DC a bit lower... no special bonus against giant... but overall it should be pretty similar.
