Default Suggestion: Increase Shuriken attack speed at least double

Shuriken's base damage is 1d3 compared to throwing daggers 1d4 which also have higher critical of 19-20 rather than just 20.

This may actually already be in but shuriken should reload a LOT faster than daggers to compensate (like it is in pnp). Given that it's also an exotic weapon (and only free to monks and drow) it should have some basic advantages over the other weapons.

    Especially given that:
In DDO the altered effects of Flurry of Blows means you don't lob 3 at a time, making shurikens 1/3rd weaker than their stats should indicate; they're really awkward to carry around in any sort of quantity; they don't appear to work with sneak-attacks, etc; Monks' wind stance seems to have no tangible boost to throwing speed, especially when you stack it with quick-draw.

Thrown weapons don't get a lot of love, but Shuriken are a real joke. Make it so their throw-speed with quickdraw, flurry, and wind stance all combined results in a DPS comparable to bows; and increase the stack-size to 100 (or else give us a bandolier object that works like a quiver for them). Also, fix thrown weapons so that sneak attack works with them.

I don't think shuriken even do 1d3 damage, I believe it is 1d2. I remember using a returning shuriken once with my drow pally and having a drawn out fight with a skeleton archer I couldn't reach to melee, I did 0-1 damage per shot with a throwing star when the skeletons dr 5 was taken into account. Needless to say, I bought a returning axe instead after that quest.

Anyway, I think it is pretty sad that a drow with full shuriken weapon enhancements will have a weapon merely as powerful as a throwing axe without putting any enhancement/feats into it. What the posters above me said really should be put into effect. It is one thing to have weapons or character choices that are sub-optimal, that is unavoidable, but it is another thing when some options and paths are downright pathetic.

Thrown damage is modified in damage by your strength, did your drow have 8 str? you may have been getting -1 damage per hit throwing it.

no, it was 16 strength at the time. It was the skeleton's DR that was reducing the damage down so much. The fight lasted several minutes of watching the skelly's health drop one point at a time on every other hit. Anyway, had I had a returning throwing axe instead at the time, the battle would have been over at least three times faster.
