Choice between 32pt or Vet Status

I have enough turbine points for either 32pt build or Vet Status. So which one would you pick and why?

32pt characters and, IMO, it's not close. Vet status just saves you a few hours of gameplay skipping Korthos.

I would pick... Adventure packs (and if you have them all the 32 pb). The 4 levels from the Vet-Status is like 3 hours work.

Vet status gives you nothing you can not get by playing a few hours. If you find korthos even remotely entertaining, like I do, you might even have your characters skip the veteran thing and start at 1 so they can do all the fun low level stuff while they are still low level and it's still fun.

32 point build you can also get by playing... for months on end, grinding for favor at the exclusion of nearly all other activity, with the reward of rerolling your favorite character you've worked so hard on and starting a new, stronger version.

If you are going with one of the two go with 32 point build.


If you are not going to buy any turbine points for adventure packs I would purchase some of those instead. Below are a few reasons:

1. It's easy to get to 400 favor for a drow sorc if you want one.
2. As you level you will get 1000 favor pretty easy and will have vet status.
3. Even with a 28 points build, once you get 1750 favor you will be able to make 32 point builds, reincarnation is close to being added to the game, you do a greater reincarnation, keep your levels but get to turn your toon into a 32 point build. You won't notice much of a difference in 28 or 32 point build until maybe end game, and even then it's not really noticeable.

Unless you are a VIP and just wanting to spend points then thats a different story.

32 you can earn a 1000 favor on your server by 10th easy and then make a 32pt who is a vet if you want an alt and still keeping your first 32 as you main.
