I'm looking for a build that will provide full healer and good caster dps with high survivability at end game. I'm thinking sacrificing the human extra feat for elven resistences might be good.
I started doing a drow fvs (18)/monk (2) build in char builder, but honestly I don't know enough about the game to make good decisions. I'm thinking starting 8/16/12/10/16/16. Now I know not having 16 wisdom will be a concern to many for spell pen, but I'm thinking about overall survivability (therefore more dex and monk 2 for evasion and AC bonuses and reflex saves).
So I'm thinking reflex, will, enchantment, fear and trap saves etc here as opposed to 'did I land every attack spell'. Now I do plan to take spell pen, grtr spell pen and bumping wis and cha with all available race and class enhanacements, along with survivability bumps at the cost of any melee/weapon ability.
Yes, early levels would be extremely challenging, but I have a partner I play with who has a monk to get me through early levels.
Is there any build out there aligned like this? I'm thinking fvs over cleric for larger sp bucket.
FOr those that have seen my other posts in other class forums, thx for the help. I gave up on the melee assist idea (the bard was a disaster), and now thinking I'll need to focus on pure heal/support and damage through casting while surviving as much as possible to keep group alive.
Thx for links/builds/thoughts.
