RARGH!!! Works, then doesnt work!!!

What exactly happens is that for a time, the game would launch properly after logging in and choosing a world and sao forth, but when I tried to use the launcher after for anything (after logging out of the game), I get that error.

Since the server maintenance on 11/11/09, the launcher works and after selecting the world, the game doesnt launch. Instead, I get this same message when trying to re-open the launcher (after logging in and not getting the game at all).

i was also able to play the game once, then try to run it again and error after error always different. uninstalled it, reinstalled it..... still doesnt work.

Most likely game file corruption? You could go have the TDM verify all files, or uninstall the whole sorry lot and go grab the full install. It might help. It might not. At most, it's going to download while you watch the latest episode of <favorite-show>. What do you have to lose?
