Is it possible for a WF to have meaningful AC in a multiclass?? Or even at all? Doesn't seem like it. The racial-feat armors are unimpressive. And the Docents are not only hideous but equally unimpressive.
And why aren't the racial-feat armors NATURAL armor? Seems odd...
Is it just me and my newbery?

I don't see why not - I wouldn't use the Mithral/Adamantine body feats, though. The composite plating allows unlimited Dex/Wisdom bonus just like robes.
The best docent in the game has nothing to do with AC

very true. WF don't get any real +AC racial benefits, like +dex or halfling size bonus... but if you built it right you would only be behind a few points compared to halflings

WF can do just as well as anyone else.
Mithral Body is like a free (well, for a feat) Mithral Breastplate...that you can then slot a DT Docent into, basically making a Mithral DT Breastplate, which no one else can do.
Adamantine Body w/ a DT Docent is just as good as the DT Full Plate. In addition, Titanic Docent is the best Shield clicky in the game, and Docent of Defiance is uber.

Also, just about every single docent you pick up will look horrid with composite plating. Not that things will be much better with mithril/adamantine plating.
Seriously, the graphics department over at turbine needs to step up their game and stop making every freaking docent pink or purple.
