Default 18th level WF PALLY, whats next wiz or sor

I have created a warforged paladin and am up to 3rd level. I know that I am going with at least 18 levels of paladin because I want to get this (from the DDO WIKI):

    Paladin Defender of Siberys III
◦Prerequisites: : Level 18 Paladin, Defender of Siberys II, Paladin Bulwark of Good III, Paladin Resistance of Good III, and any Paladin Faith II enhancement.
    ◦Cost: 2 Action Points
◦Benefit: Protecting the weak from the depredations of the strong, you become a paragon of defense. This prestige enhancement increases the strength of all of your defensive auras, increases the maximum dexterity bonus allowed by tower shields and medium or heavy armor by 1, and grants the ability to enter a superior defensive stance or to defy your enemies in a glorious stand against evil.
◦Defender of Siberys III: Superior Defensive Stance
◦Benefits: You may expend a Paladin armor boost to become a bastion of defense, gaining a +4 Sacred bonus to Strength and Constitution, a +3 Sacred bonus on all saves, a +4 Dodge bonus to Armor Class, and produce 200% more hate with your melee attacks. While in this stance, you move at half speed.
◦Defender of Siberys III: Glorious Stand
◦Benefits: You may expend a turn attempt to make a glorious stand against your enemies. For a short duration of time, you gain DR 20/epic, take reduced damage from elemental and negative energy, receive double healing from positive energy, and are immune to secondary effects of attacks such as 'wounding' or 'vorpal'. Each time you take damage, you gain the effects of a Cure Light Wounds spell.

I am debating on whether I should take 2 levels of Wizard or 2 levels of Sorcerer. The reason I am looking at taking one or the other is so that I can pick up some repair wands and self heal. I took Warforged healers friend at first level, so my heal spells will work on myself somewhat, but the wands will help where the heal spells wont.

I plan on playing him as a solo melee up front weapon swinging paladin who can self heal.

so should I take 2 levels of wizard ?

should I take 2 levels of sorcerer ?

or should I take 1 level of either sorcerer/wizard and 1 level of something else ???

Best thing to do would be two levels of rogue. Max out UMD. Use wands that way. You'll also get evasion and sneak attack. You won't be able to use anything other than arcane wands with your arcane spell failure. You'll probaly want to reroll and take rogue as your first level though for the extra skill points.

I would NOT take 2 levels of arcane caster as a paladin.

    +1

Sound advice. Reroll and take rogue at level 1 or go straight paladin.

Dont do Wiz/SOrc just for wands. You can enhance your Divine healing quite a bit in this game. you can actually get to a point where your paladin Cures/Wands will do more than a Typical repair wand even.

Plus your Lay on Hands is Unaffected by your Race.

Ditto the "do not splash wizard or sorc" comments.

Rogue 2 is the best splash you can do if you must (and please reroll now if you do), but pure paladin is also a great build.

My opinion: stay pure the capstone is worth it, but if you really want to multiclass, you should go rogue for UMD and evasion, but that means taking level 1 as a rogue, to do it right.

My WF Arcane don't use wands at high levels - it just takes too flipping long. You'd better have more HP than they have

I would recommend that you do not take any level of caster. If you really, really, really want to do that though you should do wizard for the class feat and pick extend spell.
