DDO Store Thanksgiving/Black Friday Sale!

Ugh, don't remind me that's coming. I work for one of those major stores, and will be there Thanksgiving night at 10pm-?am setting up, running sales. Gonna be crazy this year, gotta have trained security b/c of last year.

On topic, would be kinda funny/cool to see Turbine do it, just for fun of it really. Like a major discount for the first hour, and/or the first 100 to buy something. Although, there will be a lot of people not happy as we won't be able to participate due to r/l issues.

Yeah... it would be funny if they 'staged' different sales for different times. Then they would really see who is playing when... or at least showing up for the best % sale off.

PS: Founder just means you have been here for a long long time. Usually from pre-ordering the original game (as I did back in Beta 2006).

founder means you were one of the first group of people to play this game & also sign up on the forums. Not everyone did both of those things........... some just one or the other.

Founder status on forums means you signed up for the DDO forums during the original headstart end of Feb 2006.

Headstart was for any player who preordered the game they were given a few days headstart before the game launched.

Founder seems to now mean anyone who started the game during head start.

I actually know 2 people I used to worked with years ago who signed up on the boards but never actually got the game to run because they had lame computers. Truth be told mine would not have either but I bought my pc to accomodate DDO........ sad but true.
