DDO wont launch after choosing a world

After I choose a world DDO gets stuck on a white screen. I can alt tab and move between other applications or ctrl+alt+delete to turn it off but it never gets past that white screen. This issue seems to be related to turbine products because I bought the update for LOTRO and had to cancel my subscription and wasted my money buying the new expansion for a game that wont load. However, games like AOC ran fine on my machine. I've been a fan of Turbine since AC but these new issues are more than a problem with a game, its become a loss of faith in a company I loved since back in the heyday of MMORPG's. Heck I even bought a new computer because these issues were happening on my old machine about four months ago. I'm not a tech wiz but I would really like to be able to play DDO.

but i just dont know if i should go missing with my .dlls and I cant understand why WAR and AOC run but Turbine products do not. I mean is there anything I can do to get this game running? Is it an issue that being addressed and I can hopefully see a fix for in the future?

I put in my name hit join world then i see like some color some sound and alot of black and rainbow colors flieing everywhere for like 0.5 seconds then my window closes and i get that Windows not responding thing

Ever since the update...Nothing happens after I choose world. I have made sure the four main files have full access through my symantec firewall. Hell, I even shut it off to try that. I can no longer play this great game I just started 2 months ago. I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!

Me too. I turned off my firewall to see if it would work too but I dont even know how or why that should be an issue. I dont have to do that with the other two mmo's I play. I used to play this game and LOTRO all the time. Once I heard this went free to play and that there was an online shop I had my wallet open ready to throw money at this game. Now I wasted most of a day trying to get things going and still no response from a tech person. I thought these issues would have been cleared up after more than a year of not playing. I just hope someone can help me so I can game.
