Default Getting repaired by Arcane types

I've seen several threads tells WF melee to carry wands to hand to arcane types if they want the arcanes to heal them. I thought I'd post this thread to explain the concept in greater detail.

    1. Wands of Repair Light/Moderate/Serious/Critical can all be purchased at a vendor.
    2. Scrolls of Reconstruct can also be purchased at a vendor.
    3. Unless you only expect to be topped off in between fights, provide the caster with the best option.
    4. At caster level 11, the best option is scrolls of Reconstruct.

Asking to get your wand of Repair Serious back after the arcane has used a substantial amount of scrolls on you is amusing at best, and insulting at worst.

I always choose to be amused

as a player who primarily logs onto wizard characters, i admittedly do have the spell slots to shuffle around and prepare reconstruct when i can. but also having a cleric gives me insight to the healing role from both perspectives, and in my opinion spell points should cover the costs of healing adequately for any reasonable difficulty-level of dungeon. if a player is so concerned for the well-being of the group that he hands out his own resources... well, it's far more than i've seen any of the other races do -- ever. and wands, while comparatively cheap per-charge, are still expensive.

don't walk away with the hotel's pens.

and all you moochers out there that just expect me to dole out the remedial remove curse/neutralize poison/remove blindness etc. etc. -- bring some potions. seriously. expect the casters to spray thousands of plat in wands and scrolls (and inscription materials!) while you sit back and zerg around like a pack of puppies? there's an awful lot of really cheap things you can do to help, and kill counts are a dime-a-dozen. warforged are the only players i've seen so far to recognize this.

Yeah, there is no reason a cleric/healer should ever have to spend mana on a remove blind, curse, lesser restore, poison etc etc etc imo, all readily available in potion form.

    Default On a side note

If I am running with a poison icon over my head, don't worry, either I have the fort to make the save or the lesser restore pot to take care of it if I roll a 1 and fail. I understand some ppl NEED to take all that off, but if I'm not worrying about it (and I will never ask, promise) don't feel like you HAVE to do that, I don't feel that way.

Once you get used to not babysitting, you will be a better healer/caster for it, and EVENTUALLY, the other toons will be better/leave because of it.

Just my 2cp, so take it for what it's worth.
