I'm certainly not new and thus don't qualify. LOL I was looking for better gear so I can hand me down the older stuff. I would suggest though that if you have stuff left that didn't go, to shout out in trade in-game, as many new players might not even read these forums.

i am looking for the past month to buy, a lvl 8 FP mithral, not even a lvl 14 but just a lvl 8 and prices are way out of my league. I don't even have 10% of the PP it would take to get the cheapest one i saw so far

No worries at all bud. I prolly wont be offering stuff in game for a couple reasons. A. A lot of the new f2p players are just here for a pit stop, and I really would rather this stuff help someone get their first main up to raiding level. B. I really like the idea of doing this at my convenience, not hosting a shop in game that I have to sit there and spam stuff out in chat blah blah C. I believe for the most part if new players have taken the time to get forum access, read the forums, make a post, they are more committed to staying then others. For this reason I am trying to help them out a little. Honestly a lot of this would have been tossed, with a few of the nicer items going on a trade list, I felt it would be fun to give some away is all.

Yup Nice set of armor. That was the first thing to go Personally I wouldnt use the lvl 14 set so really it was useless to me. By the time an alt could get into a 14 set, I would be very close to getting some DT armor done, or at the very least a set of Fullplate of the Defender. Both of which are better then the mfp, but bound. A min lvl 8 is a lot more expensive as are most items that are good but have low min levels. Good luck with that, but you'll probably end up pulling a set b4 you can afford one. Fullplate of the Defender is better, drops out of Vision of Destruction raid. So if you can hold out thats pretty easy to get.
