They are a part of the in game support team and help you when things get buggy in a quest. Like a red name has disappeared at the end fight, go to help, put in a ticket to the GMs, wait 5 minutes - 18 hours and get helped, or maybe not get helped. Either way a lot of generic macro responses involved and a lack of ability to do much of anything, that's an "in game GM"

    Sorry still trying to understand:
    "Go to help?"
    "Put in a ticket"

all this is in game? and really.. up to 18 hours.. so you could be waiting that long to "see that end boss?"

Basicly yes you are telling them there is a problem and asking them to come help. Sometimes they come very quickly and are helpful, other times they are not helpful. And then there are those times when they never seem to show up. Most times a party will either disband and start over because the time to wait on DM is more then the completion time. Many times though the group breaks up because people have only so much time alloted or desire to sit and do nothing.

I have been in on both cases and am fairly satisfied with the overall in game DM experiance.

up on your menu bar, the should be a help button, located next to the options tab (I think). You can then click for a bug, or other things. Part of the same button to exit the game.

Sorry if my info is a little off, I am going from memory - no game access at work

You will almost always find that rerunning a quest is faster then waiting for a gm who may not even agree to help. I say may not agree because i have been told we cant do that by one gm only to have another gm do that ...

Usually if one GM says NO then ask them to elevate it and at least get a senior GM to make the final decision.

and be prepared to wait the Senior GM's are busier than the GM's and you will be in a new que.

... In most cases unless you are prepared to wait several hours (you may get responded to sooner, but not in my experience) cut your losses and start over or move on....

Although if you logout or switch to another toon, your Help ticket will be quickly closed since you were not currently online with the toon that needed help.
