Default Please can we have a fix/improvement for Sleep and other HD limited spells

This is one of the running sores for me, direct implementation from pnp of spells that needed work in the first place for balance.
I know i've posted about this before, and I'm sure others have too.

    Cause Fear:

<5HD: on will save shaken for short time, on fail will save they are feared for spell duration
    >5HD: On will save nothing happens, on fail will save they are shaken for spell duration

    Daze Monster:
<7HD: Dazes creature for 6 seconds on fail will save
    >7HD: Dazes creature for 2 seconds on fail will save

    Sleep:
Puts (3+X) HD of creatures asleep where X is the caster level.
All creatures still get a will save to avoid the sleep.
    Duration is 2 minutes.

    Deep Slumber:
Puts (2 * X) HD of creatures asleep where X is the caster Level
All creatures get a will save.
    Duration is 5 minutes.

Agree, although Shaken status should be cumulative; if they're already Shaken, they should be made Afraid on another failed save against this spell.

    Daze Monster:
<7HD: Dazes creature for 6 seconds on fail will save
    >7HD: Dazes creature for 2 seconds on fail will save

Primary effect needs to be basically HD unbound and objectively competitive as follows:
<7HD: Dazes creature for 6 seconds, + 0.5 seconds per caster level on a failed Will save, Dazzles (-1 to AB, Search and Spot) for 6 + 0.5 seconds per caster level on a successful Will save.
    >7HD: Dazes creature for 6 seconds on a failed Will save, no effect on a successful Will save.

    Sleep:
Puts (3+X) HD of creatures asleep where X is the caster level.
All creatures still get a will save to avoid the sleep.
    Duration is 2 minutes.

Agreed, although you should be able to specifically target enemies, in order to "focus" all the HD worth of effects on one.

    Deep Slumber:
Puts (2 * X) HD of creatures asleep where X is the caster Level
All creatures get a will save.
    Duration is 5 minutes.

Agreed, although you should be able to specifically target enemies, as with Sleep above.
    Circle of Death:
Kills 2 * Caster level HD worth of enemies in the spell's area of effect. Lower HD creatures are targeted first. Fortitude negates.

    Undeath to Death:
Same as Circle of Death except for Undead. Will negates.

Yeah and the power word spells that a limited by hitpoints, they need to be amped up a bit so they can function against DDO creatures that have WAY over the hitpoints they'd have in pnp.

    Power Word - Stun
    Power Word - Kill
    Power Word - Blind

Possibly (10-15) x Caster Level in hitpoints they affect.

    etc

And on the subject of HD limited spells - please add 'Large Khyber Dragonshard' - 10 average makes (e.g.) 4 large. Traps the souls of mobs up to 40HD.

Quite a lot of the high level content now has mobs with more than 30HD and this means the spell is back to becoming useless again (previously useless because the components were too hard to get)

I agree with the fear cumulation.

Bane effect is the most minor fear.
Shaken is next (doom, cause fear made save)
    Fleeing is next (fear spell)
Paralysed is the most debilitating (mummy fear)

    Just like exhaustion is cumulative

    Fatigued
    Exhaused
