    Default Prey on the Hunter

Is their anyway to heal the White Dragon? Did it twice last night, by the time we got to the dragon he had about 25% health left. We didn't have quite enough time to finish the giants before they whacked the dragon! We tried to heal the dragon, but could not! Is their any other spell that heals him or helps protect him? We thought trying to buy a little more time would be helpful?

No I don't think you can heal him, but one thing you can do is grab the agro of all the giants as soon as you can. One way to do this is use a ranged character who actually targets each giant in turn. Keep in mind that you can also damage the dragon so you have to be careful.

Also send one or two people down to take on the named giant that appears after a while to ensure he goes nowhere near the dragon.

The most important thing is grabbing the agro of the giants, if they are focused on you then they won't be attacking the dragon.

No because she's purple named. She's still an enemy so you can't heal her...and not only can't you heal her, you can actually hurt her.

My pally accidentally smited her. :S

    No there is not.

Best you can do is debuff the giants so they are less able to damage her. Flesh To Stone is very nice in there.

...and don't throw AoE spells. As mentioned above, she'll cook in your Wall of Fire along with the giants.

It is easiest if you have a method for getting through the maze so that when you arrive the white dragon isn't at 25% health!

There are two parts to the maze, each with multiple paths. The maze is sort of random, so we usually take the first path to the right as a group, run till we either get through or find a dead end. If its a dead end, run back and take the next path from the right...etc... You know you are on the second part when you can see the blue force field above you.

If you have a group of 6 send 2 each way and constantly communicate about dead ends. It is important to get warm PC bodies into the fight as quickly as possible to draw the Giant Aggro away from the dragon. Have one person focus on the giants while the other grabs the Dragon and pulls her in another direction. Once the sides are apart, the rest is pretty straightfoward.

Don't wait for someone who gets lost, get as many characters to the end as soon as possible and that is far better than waiting in this quest.

    Default White Dragon

One way we did learn to do is, flesh to stone the giants, but also to have a good evasion type lightly tap the white dragon to get her agro and run her around at the far end away from where the name giant comes in.

By having stongin the clerics fast and then the hunters, grabbin her agro keeps her from charging down to go after the name.

Yes once you get there if you are on a tank just intimidate all the giants to you.
Keep doing that everytime your intimidate cooldown has reset. The other good strategy is flesh to stone with enervate for the casters. Getting the Dragons agro is anotherway if you can.

Just make sure once you beat them to talk to the dragon and get the correct option to finish the quest, because if you take the option to kill the dragon she is at full health and another appears and you have to kill them both to be able to get the essence. Which takes awhile.

cometfall creates ALOT of aggro, tip for your healer is to spam that on the giants (nonmaximized), it'll barely scratch the dragon, and make all the giants run to u, or trip them.

I normally alternate between cometfall and energy draining the enemy clerics
