While I agree a high-end intimidate is useful (rocka has one, remember) and we have run tower that way, the fact is that when she does it via threat, it is easier and generally more effective to do it via threat. the stance bonuses do not work properly right now, so threat tanking with a fighter is a -lot- harder than doing so with a paladin. Rockcandy's been primarily intimitanking for this reason, but we've been looking for better ways to generate threat, because hate tanking is cheaper and faster with less chance of a catastrophic problem, in the end.
I'm not basing my intimidate evaluation on my score; it could be just fine, and I have tanked it intentionally for other feats because I only use intimidate for trash mobs these days anyway. I do not regret dropping sf: intimidate and the intimidate ap, or not picking up bull-headed. I could itnimidate hard tower with them nofail, but it takes me about a 10-15 second head start (basically, the time I spend positioning Horoth) and I can stay ahead of the best dps builds I run with on threat.
