Auction House expiry during downtime?

Hello I think during the downtime my Auctions completed, however they do not appear in the Auction house postings nor in my mail box, i am worried, have i lost these items forever? how can they be recovered, i didn't think this would happen during downtime. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. =[
