Minos Helmet?

So... i got myself 21 shreds of tapestry.

But when i go to the helmet guy thats supposed to trade me 20 for a helmet, he says that it wont do, he needs 20 pieces.

Did i get the right items? Do i need to have a inventory stack of exactly 20? how do i split my inventory if so?

They need to be inside the tapestry pouch that he gives u.

Well, thats so obvious that i feel ashamed of myself.

Inventory is so cluttered that i had no idea i had a tapestry sack.

Would anything 21+ make the stack useless since you can't break them down?

Don't know, I turned in a 22 stack and got the Helm and still 2 tapestries.
