I would be interested in this, but I'd be starting a new toon. Anyone able to do Korthos with me? I am home around 4 EST most days and play until 6. What does the guild need for class makeup? (I imagine clerics and rogues?)

I keep trying to catch someone online to invite my healer, and haven't yet managed to. I think it's because I'm on her mostly at night (EST). Will look for you some more today though.

The problem with this is that until you can make a character that plays on a Permadeath Server that the game enforces you can't honestly believe that people will play by the rules. How do you know they didn't buy at item from an ALT? They could just say the soloed it or bought it from the AH and farmed enough gold. While I think DDO is hard enough and it's not necessary to make the game harder then it is; I still respect this play style. I just find some thing very difficult to enforce that relies on the honesty of some one.

Few players treat PD as if it's a competition. There is nothing to gain by playing a voluntary rule set and cheating in it. In three years of PD, I've whitnessed less than a handful of attempts to cheat. If I suspect it, I keep a close eye and ask other trusted officers to do the same. It just doesn't happen that much.

I'm still hoping for someone with the nuts to go "no raises period" with their guild. That's the essence of permadeath.

PD as far as I view it is purely for entertainment value. Great idea, I might make a toon to join for the fun of it, just to see how far I can go before I die.
