Sepyrus Necronomicus Guild, was formed out of a need for different classes and races to join together with much freedom to think for themselves. However this does not mean there are no guidelines or rules, merely we expect people to think and act accordingly depending on the situation at hand, whether that be in combat or in trade and so on. Show your guild members support in any way you can and you will remain within the guild.
As such, we are a noble guild consisiting of Warriors of distinction and powerful magic users of all classes. We have a knack of taking on and destroying creatures much larger and more fierce than ourselves because we stick together and fight until victory. Further to this, if you fall foul of any creature while in combat, rest assured our guild members will help and heal whenever possible, and you will not be forgotten on any quest.
Sepyrus Necronomicus is growing daily. As such we have deemed it essential to accept requests for membership only from members above level 4. This is because the missions and quests that we undertake would completely destroy members who are below this level, resulting in a loss of XP, possible unwanted repair costs and also loss of quest rewards.
Lastly, it is fitting to list the Guild rules which we feel are essential reading for anyone wishing to join us in guildmanship.
Guild Rules
========
1. First and foremost, all new Sepyrus Necronomicus guild members must remain closeby while in a party on a quest unless advised not to. This is because when we work together as a team, we survive and gain the best rewards. Henceforth, 'any' member found wandering off, wasting precious time etc, will be disciplined.
This ruling also applies to any member who needlessly attracts the attention of groups of attacking monsters or fighting NPC's when on a quest. Adhere to this to the best of your ability.
2. Show support for other guild members. If you have items within your inventory that you think may benefit another member, then either trade it or give it freely to that member. For this reason, we manage to keep costs down and also make us a more affective adversary while in combat.
3. All treasure chest rewards must be divided between every party member while on a quest. As in the above rule, items listed within the chest not needed by you, should either be given to a member who does need them. If no one needs them, then that is fine, loot is good .
4. Any member causing grievance to another will be disciplined using the procedures below. If a member brings a grievence to an officers attention, it will be dealt with swiftly and confidentially (No other member except those involved or officers will know). IF however the act is of a serious nature and not in an act of fun, i.e. threat, cursing another, belittling etc. The guilty member shall 'immediatly' be expelled from the Guild. This may not be permanent. It is then up to the dismissed member to apologize. If an apology is not forthcoming, the dismissed member will be expelled permanently.
5. More rules will be added later as needed.
Discipline procedures.
================
It is deemed necessary to have a system of descipline within Sepyrus Necronomicus so that we appreciate the thoughts and feelings of all members, especially those of long standing (Officers) So I believe a three tiered system is applicable here and thought fair.
1. Friendly warning - If a member causes grievance to another.
2. Formal warning - If a member continues or causes disruption to any other member or acts in an innapropriate manner to another or towards the party while on a quest.
3. Dismissal - This may either be temporary or permanent and will be decided by the Guild officers listed below.
