Default Stuck at "Connecting to Turbine Download Network"

Anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to get into llama, but my TDM doesn't want to connect. I've tried opening up just the client, but it logs into the game, and then I get a message that I'm not using the most updated client.

My firewall is not getting in the way, and I havn't changed any settings since the last event, which was the last time I used that computer.

Yeah, I think this event blew something up. If I tracert the TDM IP addresses it times out at a big AT&T WorldNet Services address (12.130.10.69) and cannot even get to the Turbine servers.

Yes, this event apparently never happened; I could never connect to the network, with 0 kb sent/received all day long. I turned off antivirus & firewall, etc., and still nothing.

I am getting an error 205, the game client was passed invalid command-line parameters.

I was in earlier today doing a greater reincarnation. I was only about level 4 when I got a message that I was being booted because I was also logged into sarlona.

Everytime I try to get in now, I get the above error. I have no trouble getting into the live game though.(they are on different pc's though)
I am unable to do a validate and repair on the lamania install either, it seems like the TDM cannot connect to anything.

This is really frustrating. I have one guildie that was actually able to logon to Lammy yesterday morning, but now no one in my guild can successfully get to Lammy.

There was a tangible feeling that we could actually get involved and help with the game development/evolution, but from the comments today from my guildies I think they've lost all excitement to even bother with Lammy. I can sense their faith in Turbine waning (again).

Should we all be sending in bug reports from the live client about the Lammania client saying that there's something wrong with the network even though the live client connects fine?

Is there any point when they take no notice of bug reports. I know they dont because i sent 2 bugs reports about a GH quest and they did nothing about it.

You'd think they'd want to know that the Lammania TDM/client refuses to realize there's a network connection happening at all? Something broke the TDM.

Are the other people having this problem running on vista or win7?

It's working this morning for me. I think they finally found the bug reports and/or the forum posts and figured it out. Too bad it was too late for the reincarnation stuff.

Yeah, I was away all day and left my computer downloading updates for something else, forgot I left the lammania tdm on... came back home to the announcement that it finished downloading.

Of course, the client is now giving me some exception error with a LOT of xml errors. EDIT: Repair took care of that. Wow, after only the whole weekend, I can connect!

yeah, it's just too bad that a good portion of the people that were trying to log on for the events weren't able to participate (which lead to lower feedback, which I know is something they are striving for)
